My Story
How I Became an German Tutor — and Why I Love What I Do
My journey with the German language began eight years ago when I first came to Germany for my studies. At the beginning, learning German felt challenging, but studying the language directly in Germany helped me understand not only the grammar, but also how the language is used in everyday life, universities, and professional environments. I completed my German language training in Germany up to the C1 level, learning from native teachers who specialize in German as a Foreign Language (Deutsch als Fremdsprache).
Over time, I realized that many students preparing to come to Germany often know the grammar but struggle to use the language confidently in real situations. That realization inspired me to start helping learners improve their German through practical communication and structured guidance.
Since then, I have worked with many students preparing for Goethe and TELC German language exams, supporting them with speaking practice, exam preparation, and a clearer understanding of the language. Seeing students progress from uncertainty to confidence — and successfully pass their exams — has been the most rewarding part of this journey.
Having personally experienced the path of learning German, studying in Germany, and navigating the German education system, my goal is to help learners approach the language with clarity and confidence, and prepare them for life, study, and work in Germany.
